INTRODUCTION

The laying on of hands is an extremely interesting and sometimes controversial subject. While in Pentecost we witness the laying on of hands regularly, not very often do we explore the Biblical significance. Remember, this is a foundational principle.

Laying hands on men publicly has been practiced in all ages when blessing

them, ordaining them and setting them apart for a special work of God. It

carried divine authority in Israel and in the church. Let’s consider the

Biblical evidence and reasons for the laying on of hands.

CONCLUSION

The foundational principle must be fixed in our lives as we continue to move

            through our growth process.
